Role Overview: Prepare to be a part of the future of data-based A.I. platforms! Join us and prepare the data that powers OptiComm’s intelligent prediction platform. As a Junior Data Engineer, you’ll work on creating reliable data pipelines that unite customer’s internal data with external market information to enable accurate forecasting and decision intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
• Integrate various data sources including ERP, CRM, WMS, and logistics systems
• Implement data cleaning and normalization processes
• Collaborate with ML engineers to prepare data for AI model training
• Assist in creating data visualization tools for business insights

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Basic SQL and database knowledge
• Familiarity with at least one programming language, preferably Python
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools
• Willingness to learn modern data stack technologies
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Microsoft, AWS, or Google)
• Familiarity with data governance and security principles
• Understanding of business intelligence concepts
