Role Overview: Join OptiComm and get a chance to test the most recent intelligent prediction models that power our platform! As a Junior Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll help create and train ML models that accurately forecast demand, detect patterns, and generate actionable business recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and training machine learning models for demand forecasting
- Process and prepare data for model training
- Help implement our reality-based AI model training approach
- Evaluate model performance and assist with optimization
- Collaborate with data engineers and full stack developers for model deployment
- Support the development of new prediction features
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field
- Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts and techniques
- Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn)
- Understanding of statistical analysis and data processing
- Knowledge of time series forecasting techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical team members
Nice to Have:
- Experience with deep learning models
- Familiarity with MLOps practices
- Understanding of business operations in retail or logistics
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies
- Experience with cloud ML services (Microsoft Fabric, AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud Platform)
