This Cookie Policy explains how OPTICOMM AI S.R.L. ("OptiComm", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on opticomm.ai and our Services. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
We use cookies in accordance with Directive 2002/58/EC (the "ePrivacy Directive") as transposed into Romanian law (notably Law no. 506/2004) and the GDPR. Non-essential cookies are placed only after you give your consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, and browser local storage, which we refer to collectively as "cookies" in this Policy.
We use cookies to make the website work and keep it secure; remember your settings, including your cookie choices; understand how the site is used so we can improve it; and (with consent) measure marketing and deliver relevant content.
a) Strictly necessary. Required for the website to function and to remember your cookie choices. These do not require consent because they are essential to provide a service you have requested.
b) Functional / preference. Remember choices you make to provide enhanced features.
c) Analytics / performance. Help us understand how visitors interact with the site, so we can improve it. Set only with your consent.
d) Marketing / advertising. Used to measure campaign effectiveness and, where applicable, to deliver and personalise advertising. Set only with your consent.
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we add them (for example, an advertising pixel), we will update this table and request your consent before they are set.
Some technologies are provided by third parties that process data on our behalf, currently Google for analytics. Google processes this data in accordance with its own privacy notice. Where this involves transfers outside the EEA, we apply the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.
Consent banner. When you first visit, our banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your choices by category. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off.
Change your settings. You can reopen the preference centre at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer.
Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website functions. For guidance, see your browser's help pages or https://www.aboutcookies.org.
We store your consent choice and act on it until you change it. We will ask you again at least every 6 months, and whenever we make material changes to the cookies we use.
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
